Equipment

In order for us to achieve our goals, we will require equipment.  Depending on how professional we want our Videos to look will depend on the Quality of the Equipment and the Quality of the persons using the Equipment.

A lot of people, including myself, will have access to Camcorders and for much of the Videos we are creating this should suffice.  However, if we can raise funds to buy some Broadcast Quality Camcorders this will elevate the level of the quality of our work.

Cameras such as the Cannon XL H1 would be ideal for the type of work we are doing - it's High Def, has Microphone inputs and is the choice of many Film Makers.  These cameras do cost approx £5,500 each and we may require up to 3 of these.

In addition to this, we would require tirpods, steadi-cams, mics and lights, etc.

We would also require a robust PC for video editing and software such as Pinnacle Studio 16.
